On the other hand, Derek C. shared his fondness for the ribs and pulled pork, praising their flavors while hoping for more moisture in the brisket.
One standout dish that sparked interest was Lisa G.'s special of the day, featuring fried cornbread and sweet potato chunks paired with pulled pork. While visiting family in the area, I was craving some BBQ and decided on Sugarfire. Having been to several locations in the STL area, I've generally found them to be consistent in their quality. This time, I ordered a pulled pork sandwich with a side of mac and cheese and added some pickles from the extras bar. The pulled pork was moist, flavorful, and had a nice smoky taste--exactly what I was hoping for. Unfortunately, the mac and cheese fell short, arriving lukewarm. I visited on a Friday around noon and was surprised to find the place completely empty during my visit. The location might be part of the problem--it's tucked away in the back corner of a large shopping center, which makes it hard to spot and access. Overall, the pulled pork delivered on flavor, but the lukewarm mac and cheese and the empty dining area left the experience feeling a bit lackluster.

Food was pretty good. I got the three meant and two sides which were ribs, pulled pork, and brisket. Ribs were the best in my opinion, pulled pork comes in second. I don't know if there was marinade or bbq sauce in it but wasn't a fan. And it last was the brisket. I thought the flavor was spot on but dry. That was disappointing. The two sides were mac & cheese and baked beans. Both were good to me. The service was great as well as the atmosphere. Also went to the restroom and the motion sensor lights went out on me. that's fine. It was an adventure.

I'm glad this location opened in this area. It is easy to find, and easy to park at. I decided to try the special of the day, which happened to be the South in Ya Mouth, which included fried cornbread, pulled pork, and sweet potato chunks. I called in my order, and they said it would be ready in 20 minutes. When I arrived, there were only a couple of tables full. It is a decidedly log cabin decor. I wasn't greeted when I came in, and I wasn't sure where to go to pick up my order. I figured it out eventually. I told the waitress my name, and she repeated my order back to me, and handed me my bag. She asked if I wanted more bbq sauce, and I replied that I didn't know since it was my first visit there - FYI, I think it was necessary, as otherwise the pork was dry. Also, I saw several workers eating at their station. I understand that they probably just got done with a rush, and they were hungry. Just go out of sight to eat, and then change your gloves before coming back out. The food was just OK. Nothing to write home about. I would really have to be excited about another special before I returned.

I am so glad this location is close to my house! The other night, I was not in the mood to cook dinner so we decided to place a carry-out order which was super easy to do through their website! When I arrived, I was greeted by a few of the workers and the carry-out counter was easy to find. I let the girl know that I was there to pick up the order and she had it ready to go! She fills out bag with some of their sauces and even put in the bottles of lemonade which was so much easier than having to fill cups with ice and a drink. I liked that a lot! When I got home, I was so happy to see the amount of food we had to eat! We each ordered a plate which came with 2 sides so we had lots of options to eat! I had some turkey, and he ordered brisket and pork. We had macaroni and cheese, fries, beans and coleslaw and all of it was so good! Everything was neatly packed and traveled nicely. I did use the air fryer for a few minutes to re-heat the fries, but everything else was still nice and warm. Everything was so good. I cannot wait to go back! The location was super easy to find, but it is tucked away in a shopping center so be sure you put in the address and try not to miss it! The space itself is massive inside and they have lots of tables inside and a few tables outside as well. This is a good spot for a patio lunch or dinner!

Lovely shopping center but very well hidden. There is some outdoor seating, about 10 tables I think? Although it's in the middle of Arnold, completely surrounded by shops and roads, it's actually quite secluded and quiet due to the elevation. The guy at the counter was super friendly and helped me choose my lunch. I really wanted to try the PBLT, but apparently that was recently taken off the menu at all of their stores. He offered that they can definitely still make me a BLT and I could choose my own cheese. I opted for no cheese. I went with roasted Brussels sprouts as my side, and ordered a pint of Mac n cheese, bbq chips, and cookies for my sons to have later. The BLT was AMAZING. The bread was so crispy outside and soft inside. The bacon was thick and meaty and had a hint of sweetness. The tomato was beautiful, the lettuce was decent. I loved it. I know I should've gotten burnt ends or something, but nothing beats a good BLT, and this was a good BLT. The Brussels were delicious. I'm going to crisp them up in my air fryer later because they got soft on my drive home. The macaroni and cheese is... typical buffet style Mac n cheese. Very saucy and creamy and soft. My kids will love it. The chips were delicious, crunchy and well seasoned, though a little on the pricy side. No verdict on the cookies, I'll leave those for my sons.
